Biometric startup BioTect-ID is launching a product which the firm describes as the “world’s first biometric password”.

In a statement, the company said the solution is a biometric with a difference, since it is activated with your finger or mouse to draw your password.

“We use gesture biometrics instead of storing body images like facial scans or fingerprints that once hacked are a huge risk to your lifelong privacy and security”.

BioTect-ID said its solution eliminates this threat because it's simply a behavior that can be easily replaced or revised.

This biometric security will be featured in the Kickstarter funding platform for 30 days beginning on November 16.
