Standard Chartered rolls out fingerprint banking in India

Standard Chartered Bank’s Indian division has added biometric authentication to its mobile banking app.

Fingerprint sensors on iPhones and Samsung Android devices can now be used for logins to its mobile banking platform, ‘SC Mobile’.

In a statement, the bank said the launch of this innovation is in line with Standard Chartered’s commitment towards enhancing its digital banking application. This feature will ensure better security as well as a more convenient banking experience.
