BIO-key to display solutions at connect:ID

Enterprise biometric software and hardware solutions firm Bio-key announced it will exhibit its solutions at the connect:ID 2018 identity technology conference this week.

Also, BIO-key SVP Jim Sullivan will speak during a Knowledge Exchange session discussing Server-based Biometrics on Wednesday, May 2nd at 9:35 am -- see details below.

The 30 April-2 May show, to be held in Walter E Washington Convention Center, Washington DC, will feature future insights, case histories and panel discussions. View the conference program here or download as a pdf.

BIO-key will showcase its full range of authentication solutions, including Vector Segment Technology (VST) - a NIST-tested fingerprint-based biometric identification solution.

It will also show its WEB-key 4.0 - supports Multi-factor biometric capabilities on the web and Windows-based biometric authentication as well as enabling users to authenticate from the cloud, eliminating the need for passwords, Prox Cards, PINs and 

BIO-key’s line of compact fingerprint readers: SideSwipe, SideTouch, EcoID and SidePass, which support a range of user applications including Windows Hello and recently announced WebAuthn, a specification that will allow all three major web browsers to secure user authentication online. BIO-key's full range of TouchLock biometric and bluetooth enabled locks will also be demonstrated at connect:ID, including Bluetooth Smart Padlocks, TSA Approved Smart Luggage Locks, and Fingerprint Smart Padlocks.

Meanwhile, Jim Sullivan, BIO-key SVP Strategy & Business Development, will be a featured speaker during a Knowledge Exchange series discussing the topic: 'Server-based biometrics - Were we too quick to demonize?' exploring the conflict enterprises face when considering the deployment of server based biometrics.
